WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

• Any student who lives in the Wellington region (as defined by AFS), aged 15-17 at the time of application and meets the AFS application guidelines.

• Applicants must also demonstrate qualities of leadership and involvement in their local community.

• Students must live within the following AFS chapters: Harbour Capital, Hutt Pencarrow and Upper Hutt Valley.

• Applicants are required to submit a 200-word statement on ”Why I am interested in going on an AFS exchange.”

Applicants must be interested in one of the following destinations:

In 2008 there will be one scholarship valued at $3000 for students from the Wellington AFS chapters (Harbour Capital, Hutt Pencarrow and Upper Hutt Valley).
