WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

• Any student who lives in the Auckland region (as defined by AFS), aged 15-17 at the time of application and meets the AFS application guidelines.

• Applicants must also demonstrate qualities of leadership and involvement in their local community.

• Students must live within the following AFS chapters: Auckland East, North Shore, South Auckland Counties and Waitakere.

• Applicants are required to submit a 200-word statement on ”Why I am interested in going on an AFS exchange.”

Applicants must be interested in one of the following destinations:

• In 2008 the four Auckland AFS chapters (Auckland East, North Shore, South Auckland Counties and Waitakere) are offering two scholarships valued at $6,000 each.
